We build products — and a few custom briefs a year.

Foways is a product studio first: Setu, Foways Office, worldgovdata and Tasks are ours, built and run in-house. Alongside them we take a small number of custom briefs each year — enterprise platforms or consumer products — scoped by a director, engineered by the same senior team, held to the same bar.

// the_range

What a custom brief can cover.

Two tracks, one team. This is the range we work in — not a menu to order from. Most briefs cut across several lines at once; we scope the whole system, not a single item.

How a custom brief works

What we learned building our own products applies here too: map the problem, fix the spec, quote it once, ship against a real date.

// 01

Scope

One call with a director — not a sales bot — turns the goal into a concrete spec, clear milestones and a real deadline.

// 02

Quote

One fixed price for the agreed scope, split 50/50 — half to begin, the balance only once it ships and works.

// 03

Ship

Designed and built in-house, two free iterations per feature, then the source, the IP and 30 days of support.

  • Fixed scope, fixed price, agreed before we start
  • 50/50 — the balance is due only when it works
  • Two free iterations on every feature
  • You own the source and the IP outright
  • Running costs passed through, never marked up

Services FAQ

Does Foways still take client projects?
We do, but deliberately few. Our own products come first — Setu, Foways Office, worldgovdata and Tasks — and a brief is only taken on if the same senior team can hold it to the same standard. When we can't, we say so early rather than stretch thin.
What kind of custom work does Foways take on?
Two tracks. Enterprise covers AI copilots and agents, B2B SaaS, internal tools, data engineering, integration, security and platform work. Consumer covers mobile and web apps, games, AI films, creator tools, AI companions and AR. Everything is built to order — we don't resell templates.
Can Foways adapt Setu or Foways Office for our organisation?
That is the usual path for government and public-sector work. Setu is a framework extended at build time, so a deployment is configured and extended for your department rather than rebuilt. Foways Office works the same way. The custom part is the extension, not a fork.
Who owns the code when a custom project ships?
You do, outright. On delivery you receive the full source and the intellectual property, plus 30 days of support. There is no lock-in and no licensing trap — what we build for you is yours.

If it's a real problem, send it.

We answer briefs ourselves — no account manager in between. Tell us what has to exist, what it has to do, and by when. If it isn't for us, we'll say so and point you somewhere better.
